How can I help ?

Before working in my private practise I was a volunteer for a counselling service in Canterbury that provides therapy for a variety of clients with a vast range of struggles including: depression, stress, anxiety, loss, survivors of childhood trauma, and a range of other mental health diagnosis's.

Some of the difficulties I have successfully worked through with clients, but is not limited to, are:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • identity struggles

  • mood disorders

  • Borderline Personality

  • Substance abuse

  • Autism/ ADHD / Aspergers - better understanding of self

  • Trauma (C-PTSD, PTSD, developtmental/childhood)

  • Anger / rage

  • Low Self esteem and negative self talk

  • Bereavement - including living loss

  • Stress (work, relationships, financial)

  • Healing from abuse - verbal, physical, psychological, coercive and narcissistic

  • Self injury and suicidal thoughts

I have particular experience of working with neurodiverse clients, which is coupled with personal lived experience. Providing me with a good level of understanding in the area of Autism/ADHD specifically. This enables me to offer a supportive, understanding and calming space to those clients who find communication difficult, confusing and intense.
