How can I help ?
Before working in my private practise I was a volunteer for a counselling service in Canterbury that provides therapy for a variety of clients with a vast range of struggles including: depression, stress, anxiety, loss, survivors of childhood trauma, and a range of other mental health diagnosis's.
Some of the difficulties I have successfully worked through with clients, but is not limited to, are:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
identity struggles
-
mood disorders
-
Borderline Personality
-
Substance abuse
-
Autism/ ADHD / Aspergers - better understanding of self
-
Trauma (C-PTSD, PTSD, developtmental/childhood)
-
Anger / rage
-
Low Self esteem and negative self talk
-
Bereavement - including living loss
-
Stress (work, relationships, financial)
-
Healing from abuse - verbal, physical, psychological, coercive and narcissistic
-
Self injury and suicidal thoughts

I have particular experience of working with neurodiverse clients, which is coupled with personal lived experience. Providing me with a good level of understanding in the area of Autism/ADHD specifically. This enables me to offer a supportive, understanding and calming space to those clients who find communication difficult, confusing and intense.
